"section 294(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 which reads thus; "every court established under this constitution shall deliver its decision in writing not later than ninety days after the conclusion of the evidence and final addresses and furnish all parties to the case or matter determined with duty authenticated copies of the decision within seven days of delivery thereof."

There is no doubt that if a court fails to deliver its judgment within three months, such failure contravenes the above stated provision, thus, the judgment becomes null and void' section 294 of the 1999 constitution was enacted to prevent judgment from being unduly delayed."
