Duty of a Court to compare signatures in documents before coming to a conclusion

"By the authoritative decision of the Apex Court in ADENLE v. OLUDE (supra) vis-??-vis the provisions of Section 101 of the Evidence Act (supra), the Court below and indeed any trial Court for that matter, has a duty to take the initiative of making the necessary comparison of signatures in documentary exhibits before it before coming to a reasonable conclusion in the matter. See ADENLE v. OLUDE (supra) @ 432 Paragraphs A-E; TEICH v. NORTHERN INT-MARKET CO. LTD. (1987) 4 NWLR (Pt. 65) 441; R v. SMITH 3 C.A.R. 87; R. v RICKARD 13 C.A.R. 140; R. v APPEA (1951) 13 WACA 143; WILCOX v. THE QUEEN (1961) 2 SCNLR 296."
