The death has just been announced of Chief Gani Adetola-Kazeem SAN.

Baba as he was fondly called was until his death the Principal Partner of Gani Adetola-Kazeem SAN LP a thriving law firm in Lagos.

Confirming his death, Mr. Abu Yekini wrote:

Ina lillahi wa ina ilehi rajiun

Our father, Chief Gani Adetola-Kaseem, SAN is gone.

Until his death, baba was the lead counsel in the hijab litigation from Lagos High Court to the Supreme Court. I will personally miss baba for his valuable advice and words of wisdom. Baba is a good ambassador of Islam. He provided his Chambers and all facilities therein for Prisoners' Rights Advocacy Initiative (PRAI) without a penny. I know this is a heavy one for my brother, confidant and partner Ahmad Adetola-Kazeem.

We ask Allah to overlook his shortcomings, reward him abundantly for his good deeds, admit him to highest rank in Jannah with the Prophets, the matyrs, and the righteous ones.

Let's endeavor to attend his janazah.
